Busy-Being is a boutique shop in East Austin owned by Amber Abramson. It launched in 2004 and now shares the same storefront space as Solid Gold at 1601 E 5th Street across from the Plaza Saltillo metro stop.

I have the pleasure of selling my ceramics in Amber's store, and wanted to highlight it on my blog today. It's a great shop if you are looking for gifts or unique items from across the country. From men and women's clothing, to home goods and jewelry, Amber has roots throughout the US and is able to find new designers to keep her store fresh and ever-changing.

Not only does Amber own Busy-Being, she also curates art shows and exhibitions nationwide. Moreover, Amber knows all about ailments and natural homeopathic remedies. With the allergy season in full swing, you should stop in and check out her store. She has yerba santa, an herb that relieves emotional and soul blockages, respiratory illnesses, and grief and despair. Busy-Being also has a new medicinal tea and elixir bar with a full menu for your health and well being.

Check out her website, follow her on Instagram, or say hello to her in the shop!
